What if you could help kids in foster care have hope they could safely return home to their family?

Imagine the holidays through the eyes of children in foster care.

Twelve year old Riley had one thing on her Christmas wish list this year - but it was not a hot new toy or electronics. Riley’s biggest wish was for her and her little sister Hannah to be reunited with their mom.

Earlier this year, Riley and Hannah were placed in foster care. Domestic violence in their home had escalated and Hannah was injured when she was caught in the crossfire. The two girls were scared and afraid.

What if you could help girls like Riley and Hannah have hope that they could safely return home with their mom?

Good news! The Center for Youth and Family Solutions was able to help. We swiftly found a safe and loving foster home for both girls. Our caseworkers linked mom to the critical services she needed to provide a secure and nurturing home. Our therapists worked with all three on the trauma they had experienced so they could heal and thrive. This is what achieving solutions together looks like!

And Riley got her wish… she and Hannah will be home this holiday season.

There are thousands of kids in foster care in your community with similar wishes this season, and they simply want to feel safe and loved.

All year long, the Center for Youth and Family Solutions helps children and families in crisis by providing the support they need to rebuild their lives and strengthen their relationships.

But we simply cannot do this without you.

Your gift restores hope to children in foster care, strengthens families, and provides safe and loving homes for children where you live. The need is great — over 4,000 children a year are referred to one of our programs and are relying on us to give them hope for the future. Each one of them has a name and a wish.

Will you please grant their Christmas wish and make a donation today?

With gratitude,

P.S. Some of the children we served this year experienced serious traumatic abuse or neglect. Because of you, we are able to provide counseling, support, and evidence based interventions that help them heal and cope. Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
